Nursery Update

The baby's room is painted and the ceiling fan is going in! It's coming together very well.

Painting the nursery

We have started to paint! We decided to paint two walls smoky blue, two walls light yellow, and the ceiling light blue. All three can be seen in the picture where Tom is on the ladder. Tom wrote "Tom" and "Molly" on one of the yellow walls before painting over it. We kind of have a tradition of painting weird things on the walls before a first coat goes on. Maeby, our lazy cat can be seen in the picture, too. The other picture is of "the mama" looking tired and chubby while taping, along with the uncertain dog, Carson. Regarding the size of my belly (with ten weeks still to go!) I like to think of the quote from the movie, Juno, "That shirt's working pretty hard, isn't it?"

My tummy is getting way bigger. My dad and I went to the Denver Botanic Gardens while he was visiting, where this picture was taken.

The decorating can now begin!

I bought this crib bumper for inspiration for the nursery. It was originally $100 at Pottery Barn Kids (what a rip off!) but I got it for $30. It's very cute. Now I will let myself pick out paint.

Tommolly's Milestones

June 17th- I felt kicks for the first time. Before, I didn't know if this weirdo sensation was really kicking.
June 30th- Baby shower in Duck! It was so sweet,
July 12th- Tom felt his son kick!
Aug 5th- Tom SAW his son kick!
Aug 20th- Ultrasound was done to monitor the baby's growth: his weight was estimated as 2 lbs 14 oz, which is approximately the 61st percentile.
September 14th- Ultrasound was done to monitor the growth again. His weight was appx 4 lbs 10 oz, which is around the 75th percentile.

It's a Boy!

Molly and I went for our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and the baby is doing great.  We had decided to find out the sex of the baby and it is going to be a boy.  Here are some pictures of the little guy with some labels:
